2017年7月28日北京時間凌晨，加拿大當地時間下午4點多，薩省移民局開放了薩省技術移民EE類別600個名額。同時薩省職業(yè)清單由5月16日的17個職業(yè)增加到43個職業(yè)，其中部分職業(yè)需要在薩省注冊。
薩省無雇主技術移民分為EE類別和Occupation in-Demand類別：其中EE類別需要同時滿足雅思4個6，評估分數67分和薩省60分；Occupation in-Demand只需要滿足薩省60分評估分數，語言成績達到CLB4即聽4.5，說和寫4.0，讀3.5。
