在澳洲院校完成至少兩年的科學(xué)、技術(shù)、工程、數(shù)學(xué)、ICT類的博士學(xué)位或研究型碩士學(xué)位，將獲得5分的額外加分。
新政將適用于一般技術(shù)移民項(xiàng)目（包括189獨(dú)立技術(shù)移民、190州擔(dān)保技術(shù)移民和489偏遠(yuǎn)地區(qū)技術(shù)移民）。
經(jīng)澳洲招收海外學(xué)生院校及課程注冊登記機(jī)構(gòu)認(rèn)證，可獲得額外加分的專業(yè)如下：
