ANZSCO 4117 福利人員職責概述
• 向客戶提供情感、金錢、娛樂、健康、住房和其它社會福利方面的、信息和建議，評估和協調福利和社區服務機構的服務。WELFARE SUPPORT WORKERS provide support, information and advice to clients on emotional, financial, recreational, health, housing and other social welfare matters, and evaluate and coordinate the services of welfare and community service agencies.
ANZSCO 4117 福利人員技能要求 Indicative 技術等級 Skill Level
• 本單元的大多數職位需要具有與下述資質和經驗相當的技術層次。Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with the qualifications and experience outlined below
• 在澳洲：AQF證書III級，包括至少2年的在職培訓，或AQF證書IV級(ANZSCO 技術3級) In Australia: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• 在新西蘭：NZ登記證書 4級（ANZSCO技術3級）In New Zealand: NZ Register Level 4 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• 至少3年的相關工作經驗可以取代上述的資格證書。有時除了資格證外，還需要相關的工作經驗和/或在職培訓。At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
ANZSCO 4117 福利人員主要職責 Tasks Include
• 評估客戶需求，規劃、發展和執行教育、培訓和項目。assessing clients' needs and planning, developing and implementing educational, training and support programs
• 訪問客戶，評估困難的實質和范圍。interviewing clients and assessing the nature and extent of difficulties
• 監控和報告客戶的進展。 monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients
• 向客戶建議能提供額外幫助的機構。referring clients to agencies that can provide additional help
• 評估健康、福利、住房、就業、培訓和其它設施和服務的社區需求和資源。assessing community need and resources for health, welfare, housing, employment, training and other facilities and services
• 與社區組織、福利機構、政府機構和私營企業共同處理社區事宜，提升社區資源和服務的意識。liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private businesses about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services
• 支持家庭，為兒童和殘疾人提供教育和關愛。supporting families and providing education and care for children and disabled persons in adult service units, group housing and government institutions
• 監管緩刑和假釋人員。 supervising offenders on probation and parole
• 協助年輕人解決社會、情感和經濟上的困境。 assisting young people to solve social, emotional and financial problems
• 準備資金和資源方面的意見書，并向政府機構和其它機構報告。preparing submissions for funding and resources, and reports to government bodies and other agencies
