• 協助土木工程的研究，設計，建造，運行以及維護 CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAFTSPERSONS AND TECHNICIANS assist in civil engineering research, design, construction, operations and maintenance.
ANZSCO 3122 土木工程繪圖員和技術員技能要求 Indicative Skill Level
• 本組中的大多數職業有與如下資歷相當的技能水平。Most occupations in this sub-major group have a level of skill commensurate with the qualifications and experience outlined below.
• In Australia 在澳大利亞
• 澳大利亞學歷資格框架 大專學歷，高級大專 或 （ANZSCO 2級水平）AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• In New Zealand 在新西蘭
• 新西蘭注冊證書（ANZSCO 2級水平）NZ Register Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• 至少3年的工作經驗才能代替上述基本資格要求。在某些情況下，還需要相關工作經驗和/或在職培訓補充上述基本資格要求。At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
ANZSCO 3122 土木工程繪圖員和技術員主要職責 Tasks Include
• 為土木工程如排水系統，供水系統，網狀污水渠系統，道路，機場，水壩，橋梁以及其他架構準備草圖，圖表，表格，規劃和設計 preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges and other structures
• 執行和指導實地工作和實驗室測試 performing and directing fieldwork and laboratory testing
• 闡釋工作分配說明，申請合適的程序并選擇設備 interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
• 收集分析數據，并進行計算 collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
• 估算材料成本，確保已完成的工作符合規格，規章以及合同規定 estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
• 檢查土木工程工作，組織并監督維護和維修工作 inspecting civil engineering works, and organising and supervising maintenance and repair work
• 對建筑材料和土壤進行實地測試和實驗室測試；為交通調研收集資料 conducting field and laboratory tests of construction materials and soils, and collecting data for traffic surveys
