總經(jīng)理負(fù)責(zé)企劃、組織、指導(dǎo)、控制、檢查日常操作，并通過(guò)部門經(jīng)理與下屬主管檢查商業(yè)、工業(yè)、政府、防御部門的主要功能。 GENERAL MANAGERS plan, organise, direct, control and review the day-to-day operations and major functions of commercial, industrial, government and defence organisations through departmental managers and subordinate executives.

大部分職業(yè)要求具有與學(xué)士學(xué)位或更高資格相當(dāng)?shù)募寄芩健Ｎ迥暌陨舷嚓P(guān)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)可以代替正規(guī)資格要求。某些情況下，除了要求有正規(guī)資格還要求有相關(guān)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和在職培訓(xùn)經(jīng)歷。（ANZSCO 1級(jí)水平）Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
ANZSCO 1112 總經(jīng)理主要職責(zé) Tasks Include
• 為組織規(guī)劃政策，制定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和目標(biāo) planning policy, and setting standards and objectives for organisations

• 同直接下屬和部門主管，針對(duì)操作方法、設(shè)備需求、財(cái)政、銷售、人力資源等問(wèn)題進(jìn)行商討 consulting with immediate subordinates and departmental heads on matters such as methods of operation, equipment requirements, finance, sales and human resources
• 授權(quán)重大政策基金的實(shí)施方案 authorising the funding of major policy implementation programs
• 代表組織出席官方場(chǎng)合、談判、例會(huì)、研討會(huì)、公開(kāi)聽(tīng)證會(huì)和論壇，并在責(zé)任區(qū)內(nèi)進(jìn)行聯(lián)絡(luò)。 representing the organisation at official occasions, in negotiations, at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forums, and liaising between areas of responsibility
